This section presents the courses and teaching activities developed within the framework of the Virtual Center for the Study of Global Asymmetries. These courses are designed to introduce students to the historical and analytical study of asymmetries across different domains, including economic, cultural, environmental, and political processes.
Teaching is conceived as an integral part of the research agenda of the Center. Courses aim to provide both conceptual tools and empirical case studies, encouraging students to critically engage with issues of inequality, power relations, and global interconnections.
Particular attention is devoted to the historical construction of asymmetries, examining how uneven development, cultural hierarchies, and power imbalances have been produced, reproduced, and contested over time.
